My image from Betoota was selected from thousands of images for their Racing Formula Supplement for Horses. This image was captured at the Home Turn late afternoon using a remote camera. Betoota is the 1st Leg in the Simpson Desert Racing Carnival, has a population of 0 and is surrounded by a 1.9 million acre Cattle Station. Their Annual Race Meeting attracts visitors from the local Cattle Stations and surrounds and campers making their way to Birdsville and is a perfect resting point for keen travellers from around Australia.
